Bob Hilton

Bob Hilton joined the Parachute Regiment in July 1981. On completion of his training he joined the 2nd Battalion and was sent straight to the Falklands Islands. He fought with 2 PARA at Goose Green and has seen service in Northern Ireland, Belize, Canada, USA, Kenya, Botswana, Italy, Cyprus and Egypt.

More recently he has served as a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer on operations in Sierra Leone, Macedonia and Afghanistan. Bob has a life long interest in military history, especially of the Airborne Forces. He has led several tours for the Parachute Regiment, and joined Anglia following his retirement from the Army.
