For over 7 years, Calthorpe Park School has been taking their year 9 students on tour of the battlefields of the Western Front organised and guided by Anglia Tours.
For a recent History project one student, Tim Bradgate, used Lego to make a short film, re-creating both the battlefield and the men who occupied the trenches either side of No Man's Land, focusing on the events of Christmas 1914, when for such a brief time hostilities ceased. Tim will be travelling with the school on one of our tours in June 2011 and is looking forward to seeing this area in person.
