Richard Burgess and the Himalayan Action Challenge for the Prince's Trust

Richard (L) with Anglia Tours Guide Colonel, The Reverend, Peter Hewlett-Smith OBE
Over the years Anglia has worked with Richard Burgess of Essex Police to organise a series of very successful tours to the Somme, Ypres, Verdun, Normandy, Berlin and, in 2010, to Arnhem.
Next year Richard and around 20 members of the Essex Constabulary will be travelling with us on a 4 day Medieval tour taking in the battlefields of Hastings, Crecy, Agincourt and Verneuil, but this will be a straightforward when compared with his other planned venture for 2011.
Richard has signed up to take part in the Himalayan Action Challenge for The Prince's Trust in March 2011, aiming to raise over £3,500 to help change the lives of disadvantaged young people for the better. This is an extreme physical and personal challenge which will see him bike, trek and whitewater raft on a seven-day 320km journey in the heart of the mountain kingdom of Nepal. Richard wants to raise as much as he possibly can to support the vital work of The Prince's Trust, so all contributions are very much appreciated.
Richard's fundraising page is available through the following link so if you would like to donate, this method is quick, easy and totally secure.
Thank you so much for your support!
