University Campus Suffolk Battlefield Tour
On 14th June about 20 students and staff from University Campus Suffolk departed the UK on a 2 day tour of the Great War battlefields led by Dr John Greenacre of Anglia Tours.
The programme, which had been designed specifically for the group, provided an opportunity to visit a number of cemeteries and memorials in both France and Flanders. However, as the article on the University's website makes clear, it was Dr Greenacre and his 'bags of props' which really brought the experience of the Great War home to the group.
