Munich, Nuremberg & Obersalzburg
For those studying Germany between 1918 - 1945 ANGLIA is delighted to offer programmes which focus not only on the cities of Munich and Nuremberg, both of which played significant roles in the birth of the Nazi movement, but can also include a visit to the Berghof, Adolf Hitler’s home in the Bavarian alps near Berchtesgarten.
From the attempted coup d’etat of 1923, through the Party Rally of 1934 captured by Leni Riefenstahl in her iconic film 'Triumph of the Will', to the Nazi headquarters in Obsersalzburg, it is possible to stand on the ground where the course of European history was set.
