Henry Eagan - Guide

Henry spent thirty-five years in the Army serving in Germany, including Berlin (British Sector), Northern Ireland, Oman, Iraq and Afghanistan.  He was also on the staff of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst on two separate occasions.  He became an honorary Welshman when he commanded a Territorial Army battalion in south Wales.

Both of his grandfathers were soldiers in WW1 and only recently did he discover that one of them had been attached to a forebear regiment and wounded at the Somme before joining the Royal Flying Corps.  The catalyst for further research, these stories and many more need to be told to keep alive the memory of that extraordinary generation who gave so much.  Anglia Tours provide an excellent medium for doing precisely that!
