Mark Brennan - Guide

Mark is a retired Army officer who flew helicopters for the Army Air Corps and saw service around the world. A survival expert and alpine mountaineer, he has a passion for the outdoors and still leads Army ski mountaineering expeditions. He also has a passion for history and in particular World War One. Although he is often found treading the battlefields of the Western Front, he has also gained experience touring the Gallipoli peninsula.

Closer to home, Mark has developed an interest in Irish History and events surrounding the ‘Easter Rising’ and the Irish Civil War. He particularly enjoys working and engaging with student groups.
