Susie Rotherforth - Guide

Susie comes from a strong military family, with all three services being represented.

She spent 23 years as a regular soldier serving with The Royal Corps of Signals in a variety of roles and operational theatres, it was early on during this career that she developed a keen and professional interest in Military History.

On leaving the Regular British Army in 2019, she transferred to the Army Reserves as a soldier before commissioning as an officer. She also set herself up as a self employed battlefield tour guide/manager.

Susie has a passion for bringing soldiers' stories to life, delivering an emotional rollercoaster, giving a feel for what it must have been like for soldiers and being able to give a comparison and contrast with her own operational experience, whilst also inspiring the next generation.
